People who are short tempered and have hostile attitudes towards women are more likely to engage in sexual aggression when intoxicated, says a new study.
The study by a team from the Wayne State University in the US assessed the extent to which alcohol plays a causal role in sexual assault perpetration.
It found that alcohol influences sexual aggression, but the effects were the strongest for people already predisposed to be aggressive.
